What is dental curettage?
Dental curettage is a deep gum cleaning procedure that removes infected tissue from the inner lining of the gum pocket. It is usually done along with scaling and root planing when gum disease has caused deep pockets around the teeth. At Urja Dental Clinic in Phase 3B2, Mohali, curettage is performed by our MDS periodontists under local anaesthesia for comfort.
